There will be nine extended weekends to choose from in Michigan during 2018. These will include not only the typical national holiday weekends but also those created by two state-specific public holidays: Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. And Election Day, on Tuesday, November 6th, is also a state holiday in Michigan.
