State holidays for Colorado are listed below for current and future years.

On most holidays, public offices in Colorado including city, state and county offices are closed. Employees are given paid days off on those holidays. If a private employer chooses to close on a holiday, they are not required to pay employees for the day off. Many employers in Colorado do offer paid holidays to their employees even though it is not required.
