North Dakota State Holidays

State holidays for North Dakota are listed below for current and future years.

North Dakota recognizes the same holidays that the federal government observes. If New Year’s Day, Independence Day, Veteran’s Day or Christmas fall on a Sunday, they are observed the following Monday. If those holidays fall on a Saturday, they are observed on Friday. In addition to federal holidays, North Dakota also recognizes Good Friday as a holiday.
