Discover upcoming public holiday dates for Pennsylvania and start planning to make the most of your time off.
All holidays recognized by the federal government are recognized by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as well. On holidays such as Labor Day, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, office and businesses are closed in order to allow employees to celebrate with friends and family.
The commonwealth celebrates Lincoln’s birthday on February 12 while President’s Day is celebrated on the third Monday in February. Good Friday is also a holiday in Pennsylvania. The state also recognizes General Election Day on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November.
